Firenza Floral Design Workshop

This Spring, the talented Fiona of Firenza Floral design invited some lovely ladies along to learn her creative ways.

The intimate workshop took place in the gardens of Edgar Wood's BriarCourt where Fiona dressed an arbour with English grown blooms & foraged fauna.

Here is PART ONE of the day.

(where the guests took the creative lead)
to follow in the coming weeks.

Victoria & Mac married on a sun drenched Saturday afternoon on the stunning Gold Coast.

The ceremony took place at the Borrowed Nursery, a warehouse which provides a styling service for plants.

Harlow Carr Installation

It was a drizzly Spring Wednesday when Fiona from Firenza Floral Design & Rachel from Catkin Flowers teamed up to, as Fiona puts it, "just go crazy" at Yorkshire's RHS Harlow Carr Garden.

It was the lead up to British Flower Week & these two were inspired to create some magic just for the hell of it.

We, alongside Holly from Belle & Beau photography were invited to capture the stunning floral creation. & stunning it sure was!

An English Garden Wedding

Back in September we ventured over to Surrey to capture Claire & Tom tie the knot.

The ceremony took place in a quaint little Church of which the arch entry was beautifully decorated by the talented Jay Archer. The celebrations then continued on a private country estate set amidst acres of beautiful English gardens.

A big thanks to Katrina Otter who orchestrated the magic & kept a very cool head during the downpour.

A weekend in the Wild West

Victoria & Charlie spent a beautiful Autumns weekend in Ireland's Wild West celebrating their love with friends and family.

The couple tied the knot in a little seaside church by candlelight as the sun set over the quaint town of Roundstone
Guests then joined the newlyweds for freshly shucked Irish oysters & Guinness in the Fishermans Pub at Ballynahinch Castle followed by a night of dancing to traditional Irish music.

The following day the newlyweds set out to explore the amazing scenery that Connemara has to offer & we were there to capture it all.

Byron View Farm

We may be a little biased (as it's where we tied the knot some 4 years ago), but this little slice of heaven has got to be one of the best wedding venues around.

With 360 degree views overlooking the bay of Byron and its hinterland, it is understandably one of the most picturesque places to the tie the knot! Adding to it's seemingly endless charm, is the warm welcome from the resident dog on arrival.

In true Byron style, a summer storm arrived just as the sun was setting. But this didn't faze our couple who took a very chilled approach to their special day.

A big thanks to Natalie & Grant for having us along to capture all the magic!

Irish lovers in Cobh

Our Evelyn & Mike travelled from the West Coast of Australia to tie the knot in their home town of Cobh, Ireland.

This quaint little Irish town was the perfect location to celebrate their love amongst their nearest & dearest.

The traditional Catholic ceremony took place at their local church, followed by a bohemian inspired, Guinness fuelled celebration well into the early hours of the morning - in true Irish style!

A Beautiful Way

In September we were invited along to A Beautiful Way Fine Art Photography Workshop led by Naomi of Naomi Kenton Photography & Holly of Belle & Beau Photography - both internationally recognised as two of the UK's best fine art wedding photographers.

Attendees were treated to a wedding feast with beautiful floral arrangements by Firenza Floral Design, delicate gowns by Cherry Williams and an exquisite stationery suite from The Wells Makery

We were there to capture all of the behind the scenes action & while doing so, we've learnt some invaluable fine art skills which we have now applied to our film making.

A Byron Bay Wedding

Emma & Ben tied the knot on a warm spring day in the hills of Byron Bay.

Having travelled from a dreary English Autumn, it was lovely to be outdoors in the sunshine again! One of the many great things about Aussie weddings.

Avalon Lea, the stunning setting for this celebration is nestled between farmland so of course baby pigs, a couple of goats & a black sheep were bound to make an appearance on the day!

Congratulations again Emma & Ben. It was a pleasure capturing your special day!

An English backyard romance

When an email from Terri popped up in our inbox requesting we film her backyard wedding we knew we were in for a treat!

Being a Fine Art Photographer herself (& an incredible one at that >>> click here to see her work), this girl knows how to do pretty.

Terri & Paul's day was full of sparkle, love, rose gold peachy hues & just a little bit of rain >>> Can you believe the sun decided to show itself right on dusk? Talk about perfect timing!

Set in her parents backyard in England's Bedfordshire, Terri & Paul said forever surrounded by their nearest & dearest & then danced away the night under a star lit sky.

La Dolce Vita in Capri

This August we headed to Capri to capture our Sydney couple Astrid & Nick tie the knot.

Their day was a surprise to all having enticed only family & their closest friends to join them in Italy where they uncovered their secret elopement.

A hilltop Italian Villa set the scene for an intimate affair amongst citrus trees. They danced well into the night under a canopy of stars with the company of Limoncello.

Oh La Dolce Vita!

Romance in Taormina, Sicily

Our Megan & Tyler travelled from the United States to elope on the Italian Coast of Taormina, Sicily.

The couple said I do on the shore of the Belmond Villa Sant'Andrea before sailing away on a sunset cruise along the Sicilian Coast. It was all sorts of romantic & we had the pleasure of capturing it all on both Video + Photo!

A huge shoutout to the talented Lisa from Isla & Smith Wedding Planning & Design who brought this incredible Italian elopement to life!

The Garden

The Hamptons Babay

Jarrad & Kahrissa are all about colour, surf culture, fashion, a good cocktail & good times. When they stumbled across The Surf Lodge on a holiday to The Hamptons, USA, they both knew that one day it would be the location of where they would say forever.

It was as much of a match made in heaven as they are a match made in heaven!

The two celebrated their love with their nearest & dearest who have been waiting for this day to come (for some 10 or so years!).

An incredible time was had by all - us included!

** This is the first ever wedding where we have shot both photo & film >>> you'll be seeing a bit more of this from us in the future! **
